1947-S: This one is extra special... my very first circulation find since my collection transformed from the dusty boxes in the bottom of my closet to a living, growing collection. I didn't pay the coins in my till any attention until I saw this nickel that was too beat up not to notice. I started keeping my eyes open, and well... here we are.

I like the story Finn - I'm not sure I know the exact point I became a coin enthusiast. Yinzi - I agree; it is my favorite series for half dollars. Nice specimens! Here were a pair I snagged on the same CRH event:

My one and only counterfeit walker, found in a box! It was made of lead. Has anyone else also found one like this?
