This may not be the exact 1931 small cent I found CRH but I have definitely found one from that year. I think it is still in keeping with the spirit of the thread. I also have pictures lined up from 1930 and 1929 which are both the exact coins found. Report this Post to the Staff

Following the Wall Street Crash 2500 banks in the US failed. We have a few key semi-key dates here. 1931-S cent, 1931-S Nickel and 1931-D dime. P D S Cent 19,396,000 4,480,000 866,000 Nickel 0 0 1,200,000 dime 3,150,000 1,260,000 1,800,000 Quarter 0 0 0 Half 0 0 0 Dollar 0 0 0 I was very lucky to have found a 31-P dime and amazingly a 31 Nickel from our neighbor. But the coin production in 1929 was not affected. I have found a 1929-D walker, my lowest mintage walker from the wild. Found all three LWC and all three Buffalo nickels.
