Here's another one.. I've brightened up the pics a bit.

I have another one of this variety with a sharp spike above the knob and I've labeled it "saber-tooth"..

This one shows the DP more rounded above the knob. The grade on this cent is much nicer than the other..

..and a few more pics taken with the light at different angles and intensities..

Different light angles affects this DP 9 greatly..all of the markers are there...

..all of the 1859 date has some repunching, and the 5 looks like it could be a Grease Filled Die..(comments welcome here)

..what looks like marks at or near leaf 16 between the vine and the rim might also be grease because the marks/digs don't touch the vine or leaf at all..

.. any guess on a grade..?.."reverse scratches included"..unfortunately..

Here is another one that I also like 70+O1 with the clash above the 9 and the 9 looks a bit the same as 64a+P4a

This one has had me confused as it has a touch of 4(Clogged 5) and 4a (9) but with a die crack at 1 ?

I agree,..it had me checking all of the others also..

Could there be a variety in the variety here..?

My other P4a has a sharp spike out of the knob and is not rounded..but all of the good markers also..(the last photo here shows the "saber tooth P4a and it also has the right markers")

Here are the indisputable other markers on my above cent.....
...remember that the last photo here is another P4a cent.

This is the "saber-tooth P4a" and it is a sharper point..and not the rounded doubling as showing above.
The dies were evolving.......

I am truly amazed at the love of the large cents varieties, way too many for me to get into but when the Landon collection came out as one person already commented you need sunglasses to view, but each to their own specialties
