Very nice. The first kind of error of this particular commemorative coin that I have seen.
I've seen Japanese error coins but they often sell for absurd prices. In the past, the public was encouraged to return error coins because they were deemed not legal tender. Of course you would call it silly these days. I do own a rotated die error 1 sen coin from Meiji era.
