This is #2 from a small "junk silver" Walker lot. I dig the toning on a circulated coin.

Grade opinions?

If I was buying it, I would be considering it for purchase if it had an EF-40 grade and try to come to agreement around a VF-30 to VF-35 price. If I became owner of it at between Melt and Melt+20%, I would list it at a VF-30 to be safe. I would say VF-35 but a weak strike.

Looks like the coin retoned after being stripped to bright metal using E-Z-Est or a similar product. Details look high VF.

In general common date Walkers from the 1940's are priced as junk silver in all grades up to EF. A nice AU might be worth a few dollars more. The appeal of this coin is the toning which is definitely attractive.
