I've only been here about 6 months and I've seen your name pop up about 50 times so I can only imagine how hard you work at it. Thank you for your dedication. From a stranger who appreciates more honesty in our hobby. Best of luck in your tournament!

I am saddened that you are left feeling this way Bobby. You are only human and if people can't cut you some slack when you clearly put in a lot of effort and do a great job they don't deserve your efforts. I have reported fake stuff on ebay.co.uk and the items have not been removed and with legal action against ebay for complicity in this area I can see how people are cynical. If you have found a contact there who wants to do the right thing and you have been supplying him the information he needs to spot these things then that is a very great service indeed and something I wouldn't like to see end. Though your effort is great you are saving people from a great amount of heartache and sadness. Nobody likes to be taken advantage of. So thank you. Have a great game and a great vacation. |

bobby, you are heavily regarded on these forums as the one person who stops counterfeits. I would hope all the members on these forums have the same goal in mind; to limit or remove all questionable and outright fake coin listings on ebay and other auction sites. Our hobby is infected by fakes, and all of us either know someone or we ourselves have been victim of purchasing a fake coin. We all honor our decision to stop, it's your time to do as you please but I would ask you to reconsider. I don't know you well, but I would bet that this hobby of ours has become your passion and the fakes on ebay and other sites make you sick. I know there is probably discussion in the moderator forum about this situation, but please don't let a gun slinging member take down one of the best things this forum has going for it. |

Enjoy your vacation; you have earned it.
You have set up the CCF (with help, no doubt).
I thank you all, both known and unknown to me.
Learning how identify fakes has been of great benefit for me, and the CCF has had a major part to play in my education in this regard.
As long as I get to read members' experiences in relation to fake coins, I will always be happy with the CCF. THat is of benefit to ALL members of the CCF.

Last tax season I posted a topic about what coins (and other stuff) people were planning on purchasing with their tax refunds. I have decided that for 2016 I'm doing WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE last year...allocating a portion of my refund to CCF & becoming a site supporter. I get a lot more use out of this forum then I do my CC GSA Morgan. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for everything Bobby.  |

Bobby, This is your website. If someone doesn't like the way things are done, tell them to FOAD. I appreciate what you have done. There will always be whiners, just ignore them, don't take it personally. You are nicer then me. If it was my website I would just kick them off. I have noticed lately, that a few people seem to make an inordinate number of "forgery" posts. Just blow them off, you aren't responsible for policing ebay. You don't need to do everything yourself. Thanks for everything you do. |

I have been a CCF member now a little less than one year. Bobby, you the man, when someone has a problem they call on you. when someone asks you to check something out your always there for them. please don't bail on us now with so many members needing you. don't let this incident break your spirit. enjoy your vacation ! |
