Seeking to be more educated, ... why are things more stable if this is followed? I would like to see the data on this as the only thing I have to go on at present is what happened in Canada. Prices overall went up on everything b/c the forcing of the Loonie on the public also had the effect that their dollar became "just pocket change." Prices were raised accordingly.
Prices have already gone up! Way up!
Were we not just reminiscing about nickel and dime soda (pop)?
I was just talking to a guy on the phone and he was telling me how his father would give him $1.50 to go to the movies with his girlfriend. That $1.50 paid for both tickets
and snacks.
It is time for us to say goodbye to the cent and nickel.
It is time to replace fragile and highly used low denomination notes with much longer lasting coins.
