The prize in my POTUS research collection. Tied to President Kennedy's historic trip to Ireland. This is the only medal I've so far seen with its original presentation case. A truly remarkable presidential numismatic artifact.
Redacted for privacy of the widow. Her signature is covered by the presentation case. An internet search of the original awardee showcases his lengthy Federal service career and his tour at the US embassy in Dublin, Ireland.
