So I'm not sure if anyone is from Tucson, but there is a pretty common jewelry store that takes in gold an silver and they sell a bunch too. Good Ol'e Tom's i wouldn't label them coin shop... i was wondering if some of you all would tell me if their prices seem fair or inflated... thanks https://www.goodoletom.com/product-.../coin-world/

Looks inflated to me.
Good 'ol Tom needs to step back and do a reality check of his current pricing.

I just looked at a few items and no sane person would pay anything even close to what he is asking. I presume he is selling to tourists.

The three ancient/medieval coins also seem spendy for what you get.

My dad visited us in Tucson, in the late '80s. GOT was one of our destination points.
Richard Yeoman had passed away that week. I don't think we ever made it.
Curious thing about Tucson shops, prices went up, across the board with the
discovery of the Wisconsin 'extra leaf'.

One of my mentors (R.I.P.) was in Tucson, Elliot Goldman of Allstate Coins, really miss him, but also in Tucson is Rick Snow! Great dealer, friend and also mentor, he got his start through Elliot in the business as well.

Just one of the many over priced dealers.

The 2004-D Wis. extra leaf was discovered in Tucson. Some
lucky souls found rolls upon rolls. I heard one dealer
found 100s in a bag. I nearly bought @ 130. Glad now that I
didn't.

I use to live in that area, Good O'le Tom's is much higher in prices than many of the other stores in the area, also pays less. I always had good luck with Tucson Coin and Autograph. Bret is a straight shooter. Rick Snow is also one of the good ones there.
