I had my gift all planned out based on my stereotype of what I assume people would expect from me (CRH halves) Then I found out it had to go international. Last year my Secret Santa was international so I guess it is my turn to pay it forward. Anyone check out international postage lately. I went to check the "What you collect" section to try to trim some weight and save a few bucks on postage if I had something my chosen "victim" needed. Fortunate for me my "victim" posted what they collect and I just happened to buy a binder full of tokens and medals and pins for some reason unbeknownst to me at the time at last months coin clubs bi annual auction. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was sheer luck, but at the end of the day the weight ended up being the same between both of them as my original planned gift but hopefully my "victim " can put them to good use and something int here will be the centerpiece of their collection. . PS: I also collect Japanese watches and last year my gift came from a member in the Philippines which is also where a large number of vintage Seiko watches seem to come from. 3 degrees.

I got a domestic victim. Still cross country, but it should be fine. The coins will be going in the mail within the next few days and will hopefully arrive on the East coast well before Christmas.

Mine is international, but I played it smart - Checked the 'What members collect' section, found my 'victim' and then bought him/her something I know they'll like from ebay so the shipping stays inside the country. Fewer postage fees, less time posting. I also asked the seller to add a secret santa message, which they said they would happily do!

I'm not in the Secret Santa (too few posts) but I'm wondering how often the 'what members collect' is updated. I swear I filled that out a long time ago.

SpaceMaNy0 My listing of what I collect hasn't been updated either. But I figure I get what I get. I'll be happy with what every they send. Unless it's a utility Bill needing paid. I mailed mine yesterday overseas. Shipping didn't cost a lot either.
