Ahhh Sap, like the great Sun Tzu in reference to war fare, is there anything you don't know about coins?

I do have one question for you, have you written a book yet? I would sure like to read it if you have.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys, but I really don't know that much. My books know a heck of a lot more than I do; I just enjoy using the forums to sharpen my skills at knowing where to go in these books to find the information I need. If others benefit too, all the better.

As for writing a book myself, I'm too much of a generalist. I try to know a little bit about everything to do with numismatics, but I don't know enough about any one particular field to write a book about it. And there are plenty of other folks out there writing generalist books.

The closest I've come to writing books is writing articles for my Coin Club Magazine. Just small stuff, a few pages at most. Someday I'll get around to sending the club webmaster a few of the more recent articles.
