Thanks for the welcome. Don't know if this picture is any better. Maybe it is like the 1946 omm S over D? You can see the extra lines in the middle of the S and then down below. I have had several coins set aside for a collection and this one is in such nice condition. Anyways, I just got a magnifier that hooks put to my computer and takes the photos. It doesn't seem to magnify enough. Thanks for taking the time to help.

Those lines are found on many dies because it is from a damaged punched used. Eventually they replace it, but if to the making of this die, it wasn't replaced yet.

Thank you, it takes a well trained eye to see these things so I am glad you can help us newbies out. Like I said I have it in my collection because it is such good shape. But, I am trying to learn. I have been through all of your YouTube videos many times over and they have been very helpful.

CoinCents some dies have doubling on the master die which means you did see something but it is present on most of that year. in my novice opinion While it might have some similarities to the markers 1955S-1MM-004 is does not have the re-punched mint mark which is for the upper part of the S curved and doubled to the west ---> going WEST not the north master die S on a good portion of all 1955-s coins.
