Because of too much work, I have not updated our half dollar use since 7 July. Up to yesterday, in our Farmers Markets change and other expenditures I circulated $2024 in halves over that last seven weeks. The tourists decreased this week with so many kids back in school, so it will be interesting to see if the circulation and sales numbers hold in the coming weeks. On the collecting front, in the rolls I have found a number of silver coins, only the two Franklins (YEAH!) were added to the collection. Still looking for 1964D to complete the early Kennedy years.

Last week, I accidentally broke a vending machine when I put a half dollar into it. A few days later I bought two milkshakes for $3.50 each. Have spent $7.50 in halves so far.
