There was a local online auction here that closed earlier today.
A lot of US 90% was sold in various lots. Also some mixed foreign.

edit: none of the silver dollars were high quality. most were dark.

I have bought a lot of coins from this auction house starting back in ~2009,
when I jumped back into the hobby with both feet after a long absence.
Looks like it is time to reverse course
There is a lot of chitchat right now as to where this up-trend is headed.
I doubt anyone has a clear crystal ball, so to each their own when making buy-sell decisions.
It does look like I will finally be able to afford some overdue dental work.
I wonder if they will take silver eagles.. or my tin full of Roosevelt dimes.. .. ..

Last Tuesday 1/27/26 I stopped by a LCS turned mostly pawn shop now, they wanted $14 for a single Rossie dime and @ $30 for Washington quarters. I guess they think silver will continue to climb. While I was there they were buying a stack of silver rounds for 2k and I overheard one of the clerks over the phone telling someone (maybe the owner) to bring more cash, they're almost out....

LCS buying pre-65 at 48x, selling at 57x (under spot). He reports there is no demand for pre-65, even below spot.

Perhaps people have gotten sour on buying and selling junk silver. First, pay high premiums to buy and then either you can't sell or have to sell at a steep discount. Then why bother?

I asked the question in a post today, but I've been offered the following for junk silver through FBM and cold calling around out of curiosity the following:
1) $40 FV for Halves, Quarters, Dimes
2) $42 for Morgans/Peace

I've never sold a coin, how do those offers sound given today's market,purchase price based on decades ago, and not having to sell but needing to start culling the boxes.
