Box #100!! 5000 rolls! 200,000 coins!
1 silver-1945-S thats 84/100 .00042% of all the coins I searched were War Nickels. So if I search a million coins, I should have 420 War Nickels. I will be interested to see how Coppernickeldaddy's stats show up.

no Buffs
no V's
no Proofs

Dates:
1952D
1941D
1947D
1964 MS
1970D MS

Well thats all folks! Maybe I will find my $5 gold half eagle in my next 100 boxes

Tonight's box yielded:

1951s

1943D Our first ever!

Now the only Jefferson that we have never found is the 1950d. In fact, we have found at least 4 of every Jefferson nickel other than the following:

1950d (0)
1938s (1)
1938d (2)
1943D (1)

Congratulations JonNickelCollector. Keep plugging away. I was lucky and found my 50-D early. Now all I need to complete the album is a 38-S and a 39-D. How many boxes do you search a week? I search an average of 2 boxes a week when my back is up to it.

Well it is official, I am hooked on nickels. After a first box that was just decent, I had a really strong box #2. Maybe will pick another one up tomorrow.

Face value finds:
Dateless Buffalo
1938-d in really nice condition and a hole filler!
1939 - in amazing condition - might be BU
1940
1941
1943-P (my first roll hunting silver)
1946
1946-d
1947-d
1948 x2
1949 x2
1953-s
1954-s
1955-d
1956-d x2
1957-d x4
1958-d x4
1959-d x2

Two, what I am pretty dang sure are proofs - 1966, 1969-d

One 1982 Canadian nickel.

Not too shabby!

Murphy,

Thank you.

We have not had a problem finding the 1939d. We have 4 of them. The 1938s is very hard to find though. In good times, we do two boxes per week. In bad times, we don't do any boxes in a week.
