I have been searching nickel rolls lately. I have found many 40s, no silver wartime, and even a 1938p. Today I found a 1937 buffalo!

I searched some nickels last night, and found a 1943-D World War 2 nickel, and a 1939 nickel. I always wear gloves when I search coins because of the virus.

While searching nickel rolls, I found a 1939 S. Still no Silver Wartime Nickels. and no 2009 either.
Question for all you nickel searchers, I have been keeping all nickels pre 1960, any great looking nickels pre 1990, and any S mint mark from 1968-70.
Is this generally what most people do? I am gathering quite a number of nickels now, and don't know what to do with them? I could start another folder I suppose.

Jason, I only keep 1939 nickels and older, and silver WW2 nickels, and proofs/foreign nickels. I used to keep everything, but to much space was being taken up in my room. If I had more space, I would do what you are doing; hopefully someday I will be able to go back and collect more types of nickels.

Also with the coin shortage, it has been tough for me to get coins. I have been focusing on other hobbies a little bit, like gardening. I will always collect coins though, no matter what.
