I was so excited by your find that I got my first box of dimes today. Result: 2 silver Roosevelts! Not bad, I think.

score! Dimes can be pretty addictive. Especially since I thought I wouldn't be able to find anything, but lo and behold there is good stuff out there!

I've been laughing at the posts about people looking at dimes lately, because I thought silver was so rare in the dime rolls. On impulse I bought 10 rolls and I found a silver Roosie (51D) in the second roll! Guess there's more out there than I thought. I think I'm gonna pick up a box this week and see what else I can find.

oh, there is definitely $$ out there in dimes.....i used to know a lot of people who had rolls of them stockpiles from the switchover to clad. I'm sure with the economy that some of them are turning them in. I'm even considering searching them, though I usually don't.

Went through a box last night - pulled an AU 1964D out. Not a huge haul but I may get another box this weekend if I can't find any halves. I just edge searched about half the box so I didn't really find anything else interesting.

Isn't it possible to miss some stuff edge searching? I know with halves, if all I did was edge search, I'd miss some.

I would say so. Then again, it leaves it to those who have good eyes if they don't want to miss any. For me its not a problem if I take my time.
