I believe the last T in TRUST is doubled on top. Also, one of the building bays on back has metal bubbles or blobs. I appreciate your feedback.

That is split plating from a strong strike. Not doubled. If it were doubled, it would be raised. The gray you are seeing is under the plating, below the surface.

Oh I see. Thanks. How about the bubbles, those add any value?

Spend it quick. It will probably last another 20 years until some one returns it to the bank or tosses it out the door.

It may be a collectible in 20 years if we stop making one cents :p I heard it cost 3¢ to make a 1¢

I never understood the argument for removing the 1 cent. Does the mint realize they print $100, $50, $20, etc. bills at the cost of paper, outweighing the cost of cents? Mainly my justification for keeping cents so we can continue searching them.

I see it good either way. If we keep making one cents there will be more errors to look for probably, like you said. If no more cents are made, all the cents will be used and worn out, making the value increase for cents in good condition. It reminds me of when silver reached a really high amount and everyone scrapped their coins. Even a 1964 Quarter is worth something because of that.
