For anyone new to coin collecting.... THERE ARE NO UNSEARCHED ROLLS ON ebay! They are all scams to steal your money. |

Well... if I throw 100 crappy cents into a machine and make two rolls technically they are unsearched because I don't know which 50 crappy cents went in each roll.  |

I found a 1916 D Mercury dime in one of these rolls before. Granted, I looked through the seller's buying history, found a 1916 D, and bid on the roll that had the same coin at the end of it.  Edited by TypeCoin971793

Wow! That's amazing! I'm assuming the seller lists dozens of rolls with 1916 obverse with one of them having a D reverse, and you identified which obverse is the right one. |

There was a massive scrape over IN GOD WE TRUST, so it wasn't hard to find.

No wonder it was confined to the roll to be sold. Seller probably won't pass out a problem-free or high grade coin.

Idiot... http://www.ebay.com/sch/dariustonex...047675.l2562Btw, these are generic window rolls, you can buy similar rolls at the dollar store or just find them if your bank has CWR. The end has been folded in to make it look like another window and look like it's completely sealed, or MWR, but it's not. |

I should take the 500 1963 BU pennies I took out of the bag and roll them up.
I haven't searched through them and no one else has either.
So they would be un-searched rolls, right?

I avoid unsearched lots, simply because the person who sells it may not have searched it, but the person who sold to him probably did. So, even of the person is truthful, how can he be certain it is unsearched?
