It's a very poorly made fake. The reverse is especially bad. 0 feedback seller that does not take returns is always a couple of red flags.

I suppose it is strangely possible that the first and only coin they ever sell is listed in the collections category, rather than the bust dollar category and that they inherited it from there great grandma's grandma. But the chances are too slim to even say they are slim.

"One of the six coins I found. I don't if its a real coin or fake but I'm selling as is! No refunds!"

He is trying to play innocent, he knows its fake because no refunds. However, it wont be difficult to return. returns are always possible. you will have to pay shipping back but save your money and do your homework next time.

If the price looks too good to be true it probably is.

Agree with Bobby. Don't pay for it if you haven't paid yet. If you have paid you can still get a refund via Pay Pal, regardless of if the seller says he accepts returns, or not.

But then you'll be out the return postage.

Depending on your finances, you might just want to consider keeping it for the $20 or so you paid as a very good reminder of what has already been referenced. If it's too good to be true...

Always check with the CCF members if you unsure about a coin.

CSOTUS is right. For about $20 he sold a coin that normally sells for close to a grand in just AG3 grade. That's your biggest clue.

Oh geez. The seller should be reported to the federalis. Good lord though. 20 $ for a potentially multi thousand € coin?

I just want to add, I don't mean for anyone to take offence, but this is kind of like buying a lottery ticket, little bit of hope feels good? Except, I suppose, there is no PayPal protection on lottery tickets.

If I'm not mistaken once you open a case with ebay for him selling you a counterfeit and the seller or ebay refunds you they won't even make you send it back. If for some other reason you do the seller should be responsible for return shipping.ignore all the stuff the seller says about no refunds and its "as is" and they don't know if it's real. Selling fakes is not allowed .
