Bret, thanks for posting the info!
Foxwoods posted about a friend receiving Atlanta FRNs (F prefix), so it would appear the Mint did source out multiple FRBs for the set's notes. Assembling a collection of sets with all 12 FRBs, or however many they got notes from, would be an interesting adventure.

CelticKnot, thanks!
Atlas642 - Yes, definitely. I am aware of sets from 4 FRBs being received thus far. They are Cleveland (D), Richmond (E), Atlanta (F), and San Francisco (L).

If you wanted to just do the dollar notes I bet that would be relatively easy and inexepensive to put a set together from the bay as I'm sure lots of the notes get liberated from their sets and sold as individuals. I received a $1 FRN from the 2015 set in a bunch of notes I picked up recently.

Except from a Mint News Blog article: Quote:
At the time of this writing, Mint News Blog commenters have reported receiving sets with notes from Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Dallas, and San Francisco. It will be interesting to see whether notes from some banks end up being scarcer than others and what effect, if any, these variations will have on their long-term desirability. edit: Corrected to remove Dallas per Stack's note below.

My three notes are from St.Louis. Nice-looking coins also.

CelticKnot, unfortunately that article has an error about Dallas. The commenter corrected it, but the blog author did not notice the correction. Thus far the reports include sets with notes from 8 of the 12 banks. They are Boston, New York, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and San Francisco.

Quote: They are Boston, New York, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and San Francisco. And Kansas City. Got 2 sets today J00005480A & J00005481A The quality is better than normal, but the coins do not have enough space to actually read the edge lettering.

Got my 5 sets today. The coin obverse looks the same as last year which I think looks like a reverse proof. I like the reverse design for this year and the enhancement is much better than last year IMHO.
I only have a minimal interest in note collecting, the only ones I have are from the C&C sets I have bought in the last few years. Because everyone seems to be curious here are my serial numbers:
H 00014987 A H 00014988 A H 00014989 A H 00014990 A H 00014991 A

Mine should be in my grubby paws in the next day or two. Hopefully I can add a district to the list!
