Hi Thanks guys , always new stuff to learn which adds to ones knowledge, might as well polish it up and see what comes up, I got this in a collections of coins which I got for next to nothing, the others being State Quarters and this one and a 1944 brass penny were in the end sleeve, just looked dirty to me until I did some research, does feel like silver though, but if that brass comes up ill frame it as a fake ,i cant understand why people would make such things, its quite off putting when you want to buy a coin these days. This site is really great, not an avid coin collector , just what I pick up if it looks old , Thanks for all you expert advice .

I don't like the looks of OP's coin at all. Almost certainly a forgery/fake. Notice the motto, and the date, and the MM size and location compared to below:

My 1932-S (PCGS 63):

Is-My-Coin-A-Fake-Or-Real

Is-My-Coin-A-Fake-Or-Real

Is-My-Coin-A-Fake-Or-Real

Also for comparison, my 1932-D (PCGS MS63)

Agree with the group: the entire coin appears to be a forgery.

The usual technique is to take a genuine silver 1932 Philadelphia quarter (quite inexpensive in circulated grades) and add either an S or D mintmark to simulate the much more valuable San Francisco or Denver-mint coin. Maybe the counterfeiter can save a few bucks per piece by just stamping out complete fakes in mass quantities.

Chinese counterfeit, 100%. Where did you acquire the album? Can you post pics of the album itself with the other coins that were in it that you've mentioned?

Yes, I'd like to see the fake 1932-d in the album.
