You should report on the fake coin thread, this way they will get taken down and the current bidders will not end up with junk. Thanks for posting.

That 1945 Canada dollar is so fake I could probably make one better than that. Send a message to the mods to get the ebay listing put in the counterfeit forum.

I think Bobby prefers each fake to be reported separately in the correct thread with a reason why it's fake.

Look at the obverse of the 1947 dollar, yuck. I'm seeing dirty, poorly cared for, and worn old coins. Looking at the background, some of the listings are in black and white which fades out the image even greater.

The date on that 1945 dollar looks nasty. Also, how can the seller have 123 rating and yet when you click on completed sales worldwide it comes up with nothing?

Just a touch overpriced in this market.

The '21? But heck, it gets sent by free economy shipping. (Don't know how I missed noticing this, it would be worth a flight to have it certified.)

Pennyman, agreed. Here's the 1890 50c, same source.

The 1888 50c appears a classic Chinese counterfeit with bloated 8s. No counterfeit is listed in Charlton for a 1872 50c.

That 1921 50c is concerning, It's not unheard for someone to innocently contact the seller, then suddenly the uncle desperately needs the money and the cuttiemissy's of this world offer a quick low-priced deal.

I'm reminded of the Wizard of Oz and the man behind the curtain. Truly impressive!
