Gas Bubbles? - Coin Community Forum

Jeremy123 Valued Member United States 76 Posts	Posted 01/29/2016 10:30 pm I've been reading on other posts about gas bubbles and just wanted to confirm that these are gas bubbles because they are in pretty good locations, well two out of three are in good locations. The first looks like a button on Abes Suit, the second one looks ruptured but its large, and the last bubble popped leaving what looks like where Abes exit wound would have been. Insofar at the U.S. Mint is concerned, that is no big deal. I can't help wondering if an injection moulded plastic coin could be issued into circulation instead. Plastic banknotes are finding increasing popularity for issue into circulation. Come to think of it, we have all been using plastic money for some years now, (credit cards).
