Coinfrog- being that you have completed this set, what would you consider to be a good deal on one of these high grade $1 North Africa notes? (assuming it has a regular serial number).

You should be able to get a TPG 65PQ for less than $250 on ebay with patience. I saw one go for less than $200 a couple of days ago. Save the search, check the scans, be sure it's PQ, and take your time.

Ok, thanks. I definitely want to get a nice $1 note when I can to start. Then I will go for the $10, and eventually the tough $5. I'll look for certified examples, of course. I suppose it took you a while to complete this set, but I reckon it's worth it.
