I buy them off of ebay. People save them because they know of the BIG doubled die. What most do not realize is there are quite a few not so big ones that are great finds as well. I actually got a #6 and a #8 in circulated rolls off the bay for only about $2 a roll.
Hey Seal006, do you use a paper towel to wrap around your light or is that paper? I've been trying to figure out a way to improve lighting. I use a piece of paper and they turn out alright. On nickels it's great but on pennies it's still a bit off. Any advice?
Well, I struck out this time. But it was fun. I like looking through lots of coins with the same date. It is neat seeing subtle differences. Off to find my next batch. Maybe some 70-S this time.
