Show my wife the coin today. She loves it and she doesn't like that many coins. I almost save it to give it to her as valentine gift. Then I told her how much it fetch on ebay and she said "sell it!"

Sell it The first excitement just doesn't worth to have a coin for non collector as a gift. What she will do with it....

This coin has created some fun back into the NCLT section, even with a 4000 mintage eventually due to limited theme appeal will probably drift back to issue, also maybe the coin show guy has many hundreds reserved for his show.

I don't know if it's possible for associations to get coins commissioned from RCM, but if it is then it's possible the Ukrainian Canadian Congress did so for its members upon the 125th anniversary. Seems like a very active organization: http://www.ucc.ca/category/ucc-comm...es-and-news/

I think only dealers can commission coins but as we see recently any organization could order a token or medal as the Nascar stuff

Thanks , Wildflower this is the informative resource, interesting to read to expand the knowledge. Thanks to RCM's coin, that became popular. Due to it's existence we can learn something about community.

Interesting news coming from other forum:
People were able to track "late shipments", and by this to get the Pysanka coins from the physical stores.
Another bit shocking: one of the members managed to get the shipment, targeted to another customer...and again for the Pysanka coins. How exactly it was possible, he describes by himself.

SimuN22 was just kidding about tracking my package. I do have shipment coming in on Pysanka coins. lol. Anyway, Canada Post did order Pysanka coins for its customers under direct shipment starting from February 2nd with no quantity limit, but soldout weeks ago, ( I found out late and got none ) Also, few CP outlets ordered Pysanka coins but also soldout weeks ago. Very few outlets received late shipment last week.

You both spoke about seriously, so I thought, the order really has been intercepted The owner of my closest CP outlet complained that he tried to order that coin on time for some customer, and was unable to do it, cause the system shown "sold-out"

Just went to one CP outlet that I am familiar with.
There are two coin catalogue, one catalogue for customer, one catalogue for CP staff.
Just read catalogue for CP staff regarding Pysanka coin: margin 15% Sale date - February 2nd Order date - January 20 something. Max quantity - 3 pcs ( not sure 3 pcs per outlet or 3 pcs per order )

APMEX has 3 pcs Pysanka Silver Coin available for USD$109.99 each. Including all ( coin, capsule, coa, clamshell case ) except outer black sleeve. Still very good price for collector ( who doesn't need outer sleeve )

Quote: Hesitated to order but gave up because no outer sleeve. Good decision. For sure the coin not for serious collections. And for resell - yes, people still might take it without a sleeve, but also for lower price.
