To me, they look like simplistic tokens from some sort of game rather than expertly-crafted silver/gold coins from a national mint. Not at all appealing to this collector!

On this and the other forum the figure mentioned was ALWAYS 3000. Not a single person mentioned 4000 coins.
Even at 3000 is too high a mintage . Guaranteed to be a dud, especially it being so ugly. The 3rd gold Superman coin was way better looking and it is still widely available for issue or less. And the 3rd coin was only 2000 mintage, so how could the market absorb 1000 units more? Especially for a $750+ tax coin; we are not looking at a $120 dollar coin like the egg coin that is easy to absorb a loss if it tanks.
You know all the RCM had to do was either, change the coin to 24 karat and charged a little more or made a separate Batman version it might have worked for first coin but they keep think we are stupid collectors just buy everything the RCM feed us.
