2 oz 50% sold and gold coin 60% sold.
Coin is still exclusively available to only mc members.
Is it possible mc members gobbled that many up?

Just curious.....if Superman themed coins are so popular, why haven't these two sold out yet?

Is it possible mc members gobbled that many up? I think most of the coins went to dealers and Canada Post. The other forum said there were 329 gold coins available yesterday. I checked today and there is 292 available. So they sold only 38 coins in 24 hours. If it was such a hot coin you think the thousands of MC members out there would have grab all of the coins by now. The fact that there is no limit on the coin says something about the coin. The RCM really messed it up by increasing the mintage to 3000 coins from 2000.

I was keeping track, from 329 it went down to like 176 until they made more available and it went back up to 29x, so seems like they are slowly adding stock. The fact that they increased the mintage is horrible, even at 2000 it may not have sold out, the previous one is barely holding value. On the bright side hopefully this isn't something you can pickup for like 50% of issue later on unlike a lot of the other silver coins by RCM.

$100 Gold coin looks nice however I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot Kryptonite pole.

But only the first remain "the first". Right now, the "Superman vs Batman" , this is the "shadow of the novelty", so somehow the coin (gold one) sells.

Ah, thanks Silveroid. So folks are hoping this gold coin will become as popular as the last, like a flashback. I see.

The 3D coin has this written: Special features: EACH PACKAGE CONTAINS TWO CARDS! Your coin comes with the Dawn of JusticeTM card, PLUS one randomized card with either BATMANTM, SUPERMANTM or WONDER WOMANTM. Find them all—only 10,000 of each card! So I hope I get the 3 'randomized' cards as I ordered 3 coins......if not then I guess trading will be popular.....maybe :)

Thank you, WizBang, for reminding about these coins. Totally forgot.
But the question, is it possible to see the inserted cards without opening the package? If need to open them, the resell value will be lost. (sorry about "resell", but except keeping one for the kid, I do not see any value in this purely commercial item)

I ordered two each of the lenticular and $20 for #20 coins, otherwise not really interested in the series or the ones before it. 2013 to me seemed like a much bigger deal.
Other world Mints like that of NZ, AU, etc. have many more commercial themes being peddled to collectors.

I really do like a couple of these coins, but the high mintage is holding me back from pulling the trigger. Today is like the 5 day I could buy any of these, and yet none are awaiting stock. RCM is showing only 75 of the 2oz left, but they always seen to find more. Perhaps when there is a movie out these might gain some worth, but with the recent sales I just can't pull the trigger on something that is almost certain to loose value so quickly as other coins we've seen lately. I did get some 20 for 20. At least these won't be likely to be money losers.
