Sorry, my numbering was not done with any intent to be consistent, meaning I pulled the coins from Heritage in a random fashion, labeling them 1-6 on my hard drive then tried to organize them in the order you see here. I have never seen another source for this study so I know of no other labeling/ordering by anyone else. I've read Lange's book from cover to cover many times but have never found an obverse die with a different mm position than the six I've posted. There may be another mm position that is very rare that I've never seen or another die that is different in an area outside that of the date/mm, but I've never seen one. I hope I only started the body of knowledge on this special coin... Report this Post to the Staff
