The seller shows a picture with a scale and the coin weighs in at 23 grams. A real Trade dollar would be closer the original weight of 27.2 grams. This one =FAKE

Horrible, obverse ribbon jumped right out at me. It's too short even for a type one obverse. Reported.
Rest in Peace

Come on guys (and gals), do you really need a weight, or diameter, or Liberty's bra size to know from 28 feet away that this isn't even remotely close to right?

I was pointing out the foolishness of the seller, by writing in the description and adding a picture of the incorrect weight.
Although, maybe that is his clever way of claiming that he wasn't trying to present it as genuine....
