The personification on the back is Aequitas (symbolizing fairness).
The "AVGG", as I've been advised here, would indicate the period in Severus' reign when his son Caracalla served as co-emperor, and thus the coin would seem to date from sometime in the span from 198 to 211 AD.
Am I to take it the coin shop wasn't able to identify this?
