moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 02/10/2016 09:54 am I'm not seeing anything that raises any flags. If you can weigh it and do a ring test on it that would help authenticate it, too. As IndianGoldEagle requested, a close up of the date area would be a big help, too. Report this Post to the Staff
Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4473 Posts	Posted 02/10/2016 10:04 am There is one thing that appears strange to me as there is a circular mark between the D and O in the mint mark area. A lot of 1894 counterfeits had the S or O mint mark removed. Report this Post to the Staff

dave700x Rest in Peace United States 10625 Posts	Posted 02/10/2016 11:48 am The die polish line inside the Y is certainly spot on but the line outside the LIBERTY band is not present on the VAM 3 plate photos so I'm not sure what to think about that. I would really like to see a good close up photo of I.G.W.T. on the reverse to confirm the doubling. Report this Post to the Staff
