CoinMasters Pillar of the Community United States 5964 Posts	Posted 02/14/2016 7:59 pm Horizontal bar near top of doorway, Moxking. Yes, O-F I think so too. I've seen a couple of these, but this is the longest. I don't remember off hand if they were the same date. I posted one a while back. Coop said he thought it might be a chip. If this is a crack and they didn't retire the die soon, I believe there would be a big bulge over the doorway. Maybe it's a clash or DD. If anyone has an opinion, it would be welcome. I've been researching 1943P Jefferson DDOs tonight and trying to peg a coin I caught off the auction board. No doubt, that's were I got DDO on the brain. Report this Post to the Staff
Rackster Pillar of the Community United States 4809 Posts	Posted 02/14/2016 10:14 pm I don't know. It is narrow which bothers me but I'm not sure why. The LMC column DDRs are subtle for the most part and narrow. And no vertical witness marks. Maybe the die took a hit there from something straight being dropped on it. Report this Post to the Staff
