Whoops! My mistake. Serves me right for answering without checking my records (or thinking enough). It wasn't the '54 (that would have been really cool), it was a '51 high relief. Not quite as dramatic, but I still wasn't expecting it.

I sent my 1954 nsf 5 cent in to ICCS. my coin is one of the 4 known and is not proof like.

Charlton's and Trends both say only 4 have been certified, not "only 4 known."
Only 4 have been slabbed by ICCS, there are a lot more than 4 1954 NSF nickels known.
Probably ten times that number.
It's rumored that someone owns about thirty.
I own one and we have witnessed at least two being discovered by members here.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
