punman Pillar of the Community Canada 849 Posts	Posted 09/22/2016 5:28 pm Maybe answering my own question here but I see the Colonial Acres website shows 84 rolls of the regular 2016 Loonies at $34.95 a roll. Doesn't sound like less than 59,000 coins minted when you see rolls for sale less than double face value. Report this Post to the Staff

Naturally, they would have a vested interest in claiming that only NIFC Loons will be minted this year. Best to wait. Report this Post to the Staff
Scissel Pillar of the Community Canada 693 Posts	Posted 10/25/2016 8:53 pm A buddy of mine was at the Winnipeg mint on Saturday (he was in town for the old timers hockey game). He bought two rolls of regular design 2016 loonies from the boutique. Apparently the mint just completed a short run of them. The boutique employee pointed out 2 small palettes and said that's it for loonies this year. No more. For a few moments I held a roll of 2016 loonies. Ooooooooooo. Then I had to give it back.
