Had some time to kill after dropping the wife off at the Dr. so I went to a few banks, the first one nothing,
Bank #2 a guy in front of me went to the teller the a bag of rolls and I saw cent rolls and politely asked if I could buy them from him BEFORE he gave them to the teller, got $12 in cents have not looked at them yet.
Bank #3 asked teller if anyone had cashed in .50 and 1.00 she looked and I got $60 in Nickel Dollars, 1969 to 1985 some nice MS+ nothing jumped out.
Also got $28.50 in .50 cent pieces, nothing jumped out there either, but some good MS+ coins.
Then went to my lottery booth and the guy that runs it saves coins for me had a 2016 Loon.
Right now I'm a happy guy.

The numismatic equivalent of dumpster diving, you never know what you might find.
Let us know how it turns out.

My banks dread me walking through the door. At least one will go for break if I head to the line for a teller. I used to get and return tons of coins. I later found out they were short changing customers with faulty coin star type machines. Once the machine was removed, the coins had to get rolled to be deposited. So I'm done for now, espescally since the last 5-6 times, I found nothing special. They never give me 50 cent coins or nickle dollars.
One teller took my number down in case someone turned in a $1000 bill. That was over 2 years ago. Nothing.

A couple of banks that see me come in look at me and 'say we have nothing' so I don't line up.

I went through the ones I know that have errors, found one, .50 1982 Small Beads, Low Relief first one for me, will post pics tomorrow in the grading section.

Very nice, I dropped off $160 in nickel dollars last week and the teller says "We have a guy that comes in to get these" ... I could tell she was new ... I politely replied "No need to call me, I'm already here".

Very nice. Sound like a good way to stack up some MS coins
