I tend to agree, but what are your thoughts? Note: reverse isn't scratched at "cents", the plastic holder is, slightly obscuring view. The photo does not give us much evidence as to how much luster this coin has. I think it has quite a bit from little I can see. The flatness on the shield could very well be due to the strike. I'll say Mint State, but the lack of luster detail in the picture prevents me from going any further. Report this Post to the Staff

moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 03/13/2016 2:06 pm It is so terribly close to MS, but doesn't look like it makes it from those photos. That said, it's impossible to get the feel of the luster from two two-dimensional images. It could go MS because I am NOT seeing the rub in ALL of the places I'd normally see in a circulated example. One thing for darned sure, the reverse has an amazingly strong strike from a fairly new die. Full star separation for that date is so very hard to find. That one is really at the top of it's class.
