billjones Pillar of the Community United States 1499 Posts	Posted 03/13/2016 4:50 pm I'm sorry to tell you, but these coins have really heavy corrosion. Nickel coins, which are actually 75% copper and 25% nickel can turn green or black when they corrode. The black color is actually more common. All of the rim things that you might think are Cuds (edge die breaks) are really post mint damage. Report this Post to the Staff
