Was snapping some pics today and noticed that this nickel just doesn't look right to me. Mushy details compared to other MS nickels I have in the period. This coin has alot of luster, so it's hard to get a real clear pic. Thoughts/opinions welcome. Thanks in advance.

I would say no as the surfaces are not porous and it has a sharp rim and the details are to strong everywhere else on the coin.

Rest in Peace

Don't think it's a Henning either.

I agree it is not a Henning but just a 1946 nickel struck from worn dies.
