Hey Dcnw1983. It looks like a whole lot of struck through going on. Both the obverse and the Reverse. The straight line on the Reverse is puzzling though. A keeper in any event.

I sent Mike a message on this one. I don't think it is damage. The reverse rims look very weak. So lets see what he thinks on this one?

I'd say it's most likely a grease strike. A strong obverse rim and a weak reverse rim makes no sense as far as being an effect of striking pressure. Perhaps the reverse rim gutter was partially filled by grease. I assume the dark streak on the reverse is a stain.
