I dug this up metal detecting, looks really old any ideas what coin it could be?

A bust and harp token, perhaps? Can you see a year on it?

This is a George III Irish half penny token circa 1812 - 1820. It is thinner than regal ha pence and may have circulated in Canada. My guess is clockmaker brass sheets were cut and hand stamped out on the frontier to make acceptable change on a slow day in the clockmaking business.

The copper version books a fair bit higher than the brass (like the one in the link), and it does appear from the picture yours is copper.
