Hello all. Just found a 1943 nickel that is considerably thinner in thickness and weighs only 4.4g. The coin is circulated but does not appear to be altered in any way. What could that possibly mean? I have other nickels in that same year and mm any average 4.9 to 5.0g. Any opinions? Thank you

When you open the reply field use the image optimizer. Without photos it's virtually impossible to give much of an opinion.
