january1may Pillar of the Community Russian Federation 5179 Posts	Posted 04/06/2016 5:21 pm The shields immediately reminded me of Portugal, so I checked early Portuguese coins on Numista, and this seems to be the closest. But it could just as easily be this, this, or this (the distinguishing parts of the legend are well worn on your coin, so I had to guess from the number of letters and the cross shape), or even a type not represented on Numista at all (it's far from complete for medieval coins).
