Can I ask why you would want to keep it ? This is what I would do ; Go to your nearest pond or lake ,make a wish and throw it as far as you can into the water.

Extremely common coin...no reason to fret about keeping it, you can find another one in your pocket change today most likely....

(I'm assuming you're putting together a Lincoln Memorial coin folder...and you can find a better quality hole filler)

Considering it shows zinc rot that's unlikely.

The only reason a 1983 like this would be worth keeping would be if it was the doubled die, which it isn't.
