If I were you, I'd focus on a different set. There will always be something just a little bit nicer to blow your budget on.

I started this set in 1989 and got 2 of them, but only decided to complete it from 2015. After all the study and learning, seems like a waste to never buy another one. I'll take a break for a while. Then maybe I'll go after some major varieties.

Unable to accept the set is over and done with, I decided to collect the major varieties of at least 1 of them. I chose 1800 as its major varieties are interesting. Here they all are

This is B-2, which is the normal date. The R in Liberty is doubled. Its an R-6.

B-10 was an attempt to curve the date. The 8 is too low. The 2nd 0 is too high. The reverse has many cracks and lumps that are diagnostic. The reverse die was nearly falling apart. The crack through the C in America is easy to see in photos.

B-11 is also known as Americai as the diagnostic break is to the right of the 2nd A in America on the reverse. The break looks like an I. The obverse is the same as B-10.

B-14 is known as the Dotted Date due to the numerous die breaks near the date.

Relatively new, a 1795 Small Eagle, Off-center variety. I'm going after the major varieties and this completes 1795 for me.
