Quote: I got my replacement delta in and I did not get a replacement COA. I did get a lower # than I had previously though. Thank you for update, CoinCanuck and congrats for a new coin! What it's (coin's) condition? And it is interesting. The COA isn't old yours, means - the Mint keeps couple of the coins for replacement, and they probably still have your old coin.

I hope that's the case or those like me who haven't received them yet are going to get the rejects.

Some people still have not received their Delta coins yet because they are on a payment plan. Unless they get their coins from a "reserved" stock it is possible they will get a reject if the Mint puts rejects back into regular stock.

My new coin is way better than the one I sent back, it has almost no hairline scratches. It does however still have that slight imperfection near the bottom of the coin (below 2016). This leads me to believe that this is how all the coins are made.

if there is more returns than stock then would just mint a few more for replacements.

My rep told me once. They always keep 10% back for replacements.

$195,000 on hold just in case... I kind of doubt it on this particular issue.

Most likely 10 to 20 pieces for defects, but who knows with the RCM

The Coin Shoppe has some Gold Delta coin(s) .... with CAD ~200 discount (comparing market price).
Someone said that he/she will sell even cheaper.
What is going on?

It's peaked....downward trend perhaps becuz of some defects reported...and perhaps becuz it's not an actual coin...an emblem in gold...partially... ...and tiny in size too...and new up trend now is back to big coins---all of the above.

Nice coin always stays nice.... Just the best re-sell opportunities (imo) are over. ST fans - the coin still could be in topics, but in numismatic world we already have new items to speak about, to be excited from and to make tough decisions regarding purchase. And 2017 will bring more items. Some off-topic: yesterday tried to watch new Star Trek movie.....10 minutes was enough, when "small lions" ran over the cpt. Kirk. Turned off this comics and started to watch "Demolition" - this was really cool movie.
