1909 Vbd Matte Proof - Identification Help?

Cascade Pillar of the Community United States 7390 Posts	Posted 04/28/2016 8:05 pm Lookup the die markers and see if they're there. Die scratches on front of the face is one I believe. However, there are some very well struck 09p vdb's out there with full square looking rims and great strikes with a matte like appearances that fool people at first glance.
