My Grandpa died in 2005. He had a 1921 Silver Dollar, the one with the Lady Liberty on in. She was thinking about giving it to one of her grandkids as a momento, but I told her I think it has some numismatic value. Just not sure how much. Any advice?

There are two types of silver dollars for that year. If its a Morgan dollar its worth roughly 25 bucks. If its a Peace dollar its worth significantly more.

Is it possible to post a picture of it? There were two different silver dollars issued in 1921, both of which bear the image of Lady Liberty.

Family heirlooms makes this hobby extra exciting. Every coin has a story that is kept in it's own unspoken vault of time. (wow, that was profound of me

Common coin but still nice. Giving it to a grandkid sounds nice.
