If she plays hardball, we can always propose a compromise: BiancasdadKurt.

Ah.. my reputation apparently precedes me, I'm already on the list! Mika is not a very Dutch name though; It originates from and is very popular in Finland. During the year I was born, a certain Finnish Formula One driver became "world"-champion. My father, an avid F1 fan, decided he liked his name a fair bit, and hence Mika was born.

But who can figure out where my nickname comes from? (Thomas, this question is not for you....)

It is funny how we don't have any Mikes yet by the way. Most of the time when people read my name for the first time, they assume it is a typo for Mike

Love the idea by the way!

Mika

Nice to see so many new regulars here!

By the way, does anybody know what happened to Nate, aka AncientNoob? Haven't seen him in a few moons.

I spoke with Nate the other day, he has been very busy at work and hasn't been working on his collection much lately.

Thank you, Eddie and Mika. Mika: I know An Yang is associated with some square foot spade money. I am unclear whether it is the mint city or the name for the general type. "An Yang" is written on some of these types, I believe.

10 points to Bob! Indeed, these characters show up on one of the most common square-foot spades. It is said to stand for Anyang city, but there were about 4 or 5 different cities called Anyang at this point in time. The most famous Anyang, still a modern city under the same name, was one of the Shang dynasty capitals, but did not get this name until much later. I'll post a topic about this interesting series later (I am still waiting for a purchased coin). I just wanted to test your excellent memory ;)
